Megan Beley Withrow was born in Naples, Florida and
has lived in Florida the majority of her life. She
received her B.A. in English and Writing from Sweet
Briar College located in Sweet Briar, Virginia in 2001.
After graduating from college, Megan briefly taught
high school Honors English at Lely High School in
Naples, Florida while attending Florida Gulf Coast
University’s graduate program for English Education.
In the midst of her graduate studies Megan decided to
pursue her life-long aspiration of attending law school.
Three years later, in 2006, she graduated with a Juris
Doctoral degree from St. Thomas University, School of
Law in Miami, Florida. Upon graduating from Law
School, Megan became a prosecutor for the 20th
Judicial Circuit and worked in the Charlotte County
Office until January of 2010. While employed at the
State Attorney’s Office, Megan handled criminal cases from start to finish, from the simplest of
misdemeanors to capital felonies. Her role as an assistant state attorney allowed her to gain experience
injury and non-jury trials as well as various hearings on a wide array of legal issues. Megan spent her
final year as a prosecutor assigned to the sex crimes and crimes against children division before
leaving to practice family law with a law firm in Punta Gorda, Florida in January of 2010. It was there
that Megan was able to handle a variety of Family Law matters including Divorce, Paternity,
Adoptions, Modifications, Enforcements and Child Support issues and where she discovered the
satisfaction of providing support to those who are involved in family law litigation. She also had the
opportunity to mediate and litigate a wide variety of family law issues. Megan brings to the table a vast
amount of courtroom experience and settlement experience making her comfortable and capable of handing
 litigation and settlement in a competent and confident manner.
 
Megan Beley Withrow is married and has a young daughter. She is an animal enthusiast and enjoys
spending time with her dogs and horses. She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Charlotte County
Bar Association.
